Bham Type

This is Birmingham typeface. There is several typefaces in Birmingham and here is a alphabet I have composed, of the types in Birmingham.

This is a N. It is from Netwon Chambers,
on Cannon Street, Birmingham. Its very old style, but again it still retains a modern look with the long ascenders on the N and also the high descender.

This in a R. It is taken from the sign on the Tracadero in Temple Street, Birmingham.
Its old style, but it looks really good as well , this is a serif font but old style.

This is a capital T, from the sign on the Tracdero in Temple Street, Birmingham. Again, the flick on the end creates a very old, but unique letter form.

...

This is the rest of the alphabet, made out of the Birmingham typefaces. There is various styles and letter forms in Birmingham and these are the selected letters that make up the alphabet.

There is no Q, V or Z. But further into my research i may find these letters.

Typeography (:

Here is a font face that is based on Train tickets. Its a transport font, and is a good idea to start basing your own fonts on it. Its done very well. & I experimented with this style in my work. (:
